We offer three different Adult Dance Classes at Prelude Dance Centre. To cater for those that want to work towards the skills and mastery of Ballet we have our Adult Ballet classes for Beginner to Intermediate ability. For those after an energetic dance class to get them on their way to their fitness goals we run our Dance Fitness class. If you are looking to try out different styles of dance in a fun and energetic class we offer our Mix It Up Monday Dance classes.
Adult Ballet – Thursday 6:30-7:30pm @ Slacks Creek Progress Hall
Adult Ballet classes are suitable for those who have had little or no experience with Ballet or would like to get back into it after many years break. Exercises are taught with an option to make them more challenging for those with more experience. Adult Beginner Basics classes are run over the School Holiday weeks for those that would like an opportunity to learn the basics of Ballet before participating in the weekly classes, however Beginner students are catered for within the weekly classes.
Dance Fitness – Thursday 7:30-8:30pm @ Slacks Creek Progress Hall
Dance Fitness classes are specifically created to improve your fitness, tone and co-ordination. Incorporating movements from Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Pilates techniques these classes provide you with an opportunity to Dance your way to your fitness goals. Classes are structured so you can work at your own ability level and push yourself as hard as you want in order to achieve the level of fitness you aim for.
Mix It Up Monday – Monday 7-8:30pm @ Harris Field State School Hall
Looking to have fun learning the basics of a new style of dance? Mix It Up Monday is a class full of energy and a whole heap of fun as we learn technique in the dance style of the week and a routine. Mix It Up Monday courses run either for 1 week or 3 weeks and you can choose whether you sign up for just one course or many. Get right into the theme of the week and come dressed in style to each 1 week course and the last week of each 3 week course. This is so much more than getting fit and learning to dance, it is meeting great people and dedicating some time to having fun every week.

25th September: Latin
9th October, 16th October, 23rd October: Ballet
You can attend Ballet and Dance Fitness classes Casually or purchase a Class Pass.
Mix It Up Monday requires you to sign up for a Course, however make up classes are available for missed classes.
