Teaching Philosophy

My philosophy on Dance Teaching is that learning dance should always bring joy and be taught in a way to engage, excite and challenge the dancer. Dance teaching is not just about teaching steps to students, for me dance teaching is about teaching sound technique in a safe and age appropriate way while nurturing the whole child; building self esteem, confidence, creativity and an understanding of how to take care of their bodies.

Each student that attends my Centre will feel a sense of accomplishment, that they are valued and cared for and have developed life skills that will help them into their future.

I look forward to our Centre being a community who support, encourage and help our students to grow into confident and caring adults.

Teaching Philosophy

I teach because I love to watch as my students develop and grow both in personality and technique. I enjoy the uniqueness of all my students and that I am able to learn from them and with them; as they learn with me.

Jessica Rossi – Teacher

Currently studying Bachelor of Education (Primary).

Teaching Philosophy

Teaching to me is a profession that brings joy to both students and myself. Being able to understand what occurs within student’s minds and to be able to interact with them interests me. To be able to inspire, educate and share knowledge to influence children’s lives is a major influence to my teaching. I love seeing children’s faces light up when they can understand how to do a dance move and love getting to know each and every person’s personalities.
